Visit Finca Sagrada

Picture a life honoring paradise, hugged by a beautiful river and a creek with crystalline waters, warmed year around by the sun and the fire in the spirit house. Imagine a multigenerational and multicultural community that strives to live in harmony within ourselves each other and the world, breathing, laughing and expanding our inner and outer strength in every moment. 

What can I do at Finca Sagrada?

Connecting with nature through silence is a gentle way to land here at Finca Sagrada. Helping care for the plants and animals invites you to embody the alive and vibrant spirit of the land. Farming is a big part of the action with endless walking trails of many types and levels of challenges to see and experience the land and surrounding area. Quieter activities such as meditating or drumming at the Spirit House is food for the soul. Several of our members work remotely and our Wi-Fi is usually adequate for their needs. There is a large community library of books you may enjoy during your stay. You will be welcomed right into the flow of our community and can participate as much as you'd like. We meet for community activities several times a week including shared meals, Mingas (work parties), meetings, movies and games.

Community House

The community house is solar powered and has a large shared kitchen, living room with library, full indoor bathroom and 2 outdoor showers with compost toilets.

Bird's Nest - A light-filled room with 360' mountain view, separate walk up entrance and 2 double beds. 

Mountain Room - a warm and spacious room with a king size bed and garden view. (see below) 

Susan's Garden View - a cozy room with garden view and double bed.

Other Options

Hobbit House - hand-built cob cabin with an outdoor kitchen, outdoor full bath with compost toilet and a covered second floor deck perfect for yoga practice. (see below)

Forest Nook - A walk-in tent nestled in a canopy of trees.
